Welcome from the President
Welcome to the Florida Association of Veteran Education Specialists (FAVES). Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in an organization dedicated to supporting veterans and military-affiliated students throughout Florida.
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as President of FAVES. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead an organization of professionals who are passionate about serving those who have served our nation. As we look to the future, my vision is centered on three priorities: advancing professional development, strengthening our community, and advocating for military-affiliated students. By expanding opportunities for learning, collaboration, and leadership, we can ensure our members are equipped to navigate the evolving landscape of veteran education while providing exceptional service to the students we support.
Equally important is fostering a strong and engaged community where members share knowledge, mentor one another, and build meaningful professional connections. Together, we can amplify our voice as advocates for veterans, service members, military spouses, and dependents, ensuring they receive the support and opportunities they deserve. I believe that service is at the heart of everything we do, and when we invest in one another, we strengthen our ability to make a lasting impact.
